Beach Family Session | Mothecombe Beach, Devon

Spring is the perfect time for family sessions! When sunset isn’t yet too late so we can get that dreamy, golden hour light without having to keep the kids up too late.

As with all my photography, my family sessions are very relaxed! My intention is always to focus on capturing the natural interactions with one another, rather than posing everyone to smile straight at the camera. One evening last Spring, I headed to Mothecombe Beach with the Sutcliffe family to capture some photos of them all together (including sausage dog Monty!) We had lots of fun playing by the sea and in the sand dunes, with lots of time for games as well as cuddles and tickles!
