This past week has been a bit of a mad one with the final week of the Easter Holidays, three family shoots (all with a Becca/Becky! 😂) and this beautiful styled shoot, Pears & Pearls.

A few home truths…

I don’t know about you but at times motherhood can feel a lot like an uphill battle - especially during a wet school holiday 🤪 Trying to limit screen time, stop the bickering and get outdoors during the few dry spells.

But I saw a post recently which said something along the lines of don’t forget to soak in the good moments because one day, the kids will be grown and you’ll wish you could have these days back and I felt that.

It can be easy to look at photos like these ☝️and think these families must have it easier, their lives must be more put together or their kids must be so well-behaved!

The truth is, I’ve had parents arrive at their session and tell me what a hard day they’d had and how they almost cancelled their session with me.

Life is rarely perfect. But within the chaos of family life, there’s a beauty that’s unmatched. So here’s to embracing the messy moments, cherishing the laughter and each other, and capturing the love that holds us together.

This is 38.

So, with it being my birthday week I figured it was about time for some updated photos of yours truly…

Probably like most of you, I’m not a huge fan of having my photo taken 🙈 so I was pleasantly surprised that my grey hairs don’t seem to have shown up too badly in these pics! 🤣

For those of you who are new around here, here are a few facts about me…

✨ Eleanor is my middle name, first name Louise, but I also answer to Lou, Den and ‘Mum/Mummy’ ❤️

✨ The first concert I attended was Peter Andre at Plymouth Pavillions (queue ‘Mysterious Girl’) loved it at the time, now the thought makes me cringe! 😂🤢

✨ On the topic of ‘celebrities’ I once met Jet & Cobra from the original Gladiators series. My neighbour (who I was with) told Cobra that I wanted to kiss him and I was absolutely mortified! 🙈🤣

✨ One of my recurring dreams as a child was being in school and realising I was naked! I think this is quite a common dream but I have no idea what it means!
